Covid 19

Our commitment to your continued service delivery – service as usual and when you need us

I Care Group Services remains committed to providing every client with top-quality support services without interruptions in the forthcoming months and beyond. Given the recent developments regarding health issues, the safety and wellbeing of our clients, staff, and their families is our utmost priority. With ongoing communication with health authorities, we are actively responding to changes and have established preventive measures to manage its spread according to recommendations from Australian governments and health organizations. Additionally, we have launched a proactive response plan to ensure the continuity of our services, with a strong emphasis on safeguarding you, your family, and our staff. All support team members have been mandated to complete a COVID-19 Infection Control training course, equipping them with the necessary knowledge and readiness before providing support.

To date, I Care Group Services has not been informed of any confirmed coronavirus cases among our staff or clients.

Essential Actions We Have Taken Include:

  • Decreasing direct contact between individuals.
  • Recognizing that certain support activities, such as assisting with meals or dressing, may necessitate contact. Our trained staff will:
    1. Wash hands or utilize hand sanitizer before assisting clients.
    2. Encourage clients to minimize physical interactions wherever feasible.
    3. Conduct a safety questionnaire before initiating any direct support in a client’s home.
  • To maintain safety for both staff and clients, the I Care Group Services team is using PPE.
  • Along with training in hand hygiene and infection control, our staff are required to wear disposable surgical masks.
  • We can also provide masks for our clients during all home visits.

Hygiene Practices and Supplies

We are collaborating closely with our team to ensure they are vigilant in recognizing any signs of illness in themselves or our clients. We urge our clients to prioritize hygiene practices, as the virus can be transmitted through coughing and sneezing. It’s important to stock up on essential items (food, cleaning supplies) and necessary medications to support you during this period. As an additional safety measure, we recommend setting up hand sanitizer stations at your front door or entrance for all visitors, including family members and guests.

Addressing Health Concerns

We maintain open communication to ensure that any staff members displaying symptoms of illness or who have recently traveled abroad are advised to stay home. If our staff observe any flu-like symptoms in you, we will recommend that you seek a medical examination. This proactive approach helps us prevent the potential spread of illness while ensuring you receive the best possible support during this time.

Always Here for You

I Care Group Services is committed to being available for your support, especially if you require urgent services or contingency assistance during this period.

We will keep you informed with updates regarding the latest coronavirus developments. Please find attached an information sheet containing further details about (COVID-19).

We're Here for You – For Your Assurance

In summary, we want you to feel secure and confident knowing that we are here as your dedicated service provider during these challenging times. The team at I Care Group Services is committed to ensuring the continuity of your support.
